Planning a home project? We’re excited for you!

Step 1:

Congrats on saving for the big project!

Are you planning a fence, shed, patio, deck, tree removal, pool installation, building an addition, or landscaping update?

Before you get started, take a quick moment to review these steps. They help ensure your project fits smoothly within our neighborhood’s design guidelines and permitting process.

Step 2:

Submit your project plans for review

This form lets the Architecture Committee celebrate your project with you and make sure everything aligns with our Protective Covenants.

What to include:

  • A brief description of your project

  • Photos, sketches, or plans

  • Materials or colors you’re considering

  • Confirmation of whether a Town of Fuquay‑Varina permit is required

Submitting early helps us review quickly so you can get started.

Step 3:

Receive Your Decision

You’ll receive an email with one of the following:

  • Approval — you’re all set to begin!

  • Suggestions — small adjustments to help meet guidelines

  • Denial — rare, but we’ll explain why and help you find a path forward

Our goal is always to support your project, not stop it.

Why Architecture Reviews Matter

Exterior projects can affect drainage, property lines, safety, and neighborhood consistency — and the bylaws require all owners to follow the ARC review process before making changes. When a project is undertaken without approval, the Board may take corrective action, including suspending voting rights for up to 120 days for violations of Association rules (Article III, Section 2). Following the process protects your home, your neighbors, and ensures fair, accurate voting for community decisions.
